Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy
NetCare Share sends transactional notifications on behalf of organizations that share documents with specific recipients. This policy sets the rules for using the Service and our commitment to keeping email consent-based and abuse-free.
Nature of our email
The Service sends transactional and relationship email: a recipient receives a notice that a specific document has been shared with them, together with delivery-related messages. We are not a bulk marketing platform, and the Service may not be used to send unsolicited promotional email.
Our anti-spam commitment
- Every share is addressed to a specific recipient the customer identifies.
- Bounces and spam complaints are automatically added to a suppression list and are not contacted again.
- We monitor delivery, bounce, and complaint signals and act on abuse.
What senders must do
- Have permission. Only add recipients you are authorized to contact and to whom you have a genuine reason to send the document.
- Be accurate. Use truthful sender names, subjects, and “from” addresses on your verified domain. No deceptive headers or misleading content.
- Identify yourself. Commercial messages must include your organization’s identity and a valid physical postal address, as required by applicable law (for example, CAN-SPAM).
- Honor opt-outs. Provide and respect a way for recipients to opt out where required, and do not contact suppressed addresses.
- Comply with law. Follow all applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM (US), GDPR/ePrivacy (EU/UK), and CASL (Canada), and any sector rules that apply to your documents.
Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), chain messages, or send to purchased/scraped lists.
- Send phishing, fraud, deceptive, or impersonating messages, or forge headers.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or links to malicious content.
- Share unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative content.
- Violate the privacy or intellectual-property rights of others.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or breach the security of the Service or bypass access controls.
- Send credentials requests or ask recipients for passwords on our pages.
Opt-out & suppression
Recipients who no longer wish to receive notifications can reply to a message or contact abuse@netcareshare.com to be suppressed. The Service maintains an automatic suppression list: addresses that hard-bounce, mark mail as spam, or opt out are excluded from further sends. Senders must not attempt to circumvent suppression.
Security & integrity
- Public surfaces use HTTPS/TLS; share links are unique, high-entropy tokens with no public index.
- Sending domains should be authenticated with SPF and DKIM; we support delivery webhooks with signature verification.
- Operators can revoke a single share or freeze all active links instantly.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, suspend, or terminate sending or accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice, to protect recipients and deliverability. Serious or repeated abuse may be reported to the relevant email providers and authorities.
To report spam, phishing, or other misuse of the Service, email abuse@netcareshare.com with the message details and headers. We review reports promptly.
